Referral Agreement

1. Program Overview

The Pliho Referral Program allows eligible Pliho users ("Referrers") to invite new users ("Referred Users") to join the platform using a unique referral code or shareable link. When the conditions below are met, both the Referrer and the Referred User may receive a referral benefit as described in this Agreement.

2. Referrer Eligibility

To be eligible to earn referral benefits, you must:

(a) Have an active, verified Pliho account in good standing. (b) Not have had your account suspended or under investigation for fraud, abuse, or policy violations at the time the referred user completes the qualifying trip. (c) Share your unique referral code through legitimate personal channels (direct message, email, personal social media). Mass distribution through spam, automated systems, coupon websites, or paid advertising is prohibited and will void referral credits.

3. Referred User Eligibility

A Referred User is eligible for referral benefits if they:

(a) Are a genuinely new user who has not previously created a Pliho account under any email address, phone number, or identity. (b) Create their account using the Referrer's unique referral link or code. (c) Complete identity verification and account setup. (d) Complete their first qualifying trip (a booked ride that is not cancelled prior to completion) within 90 days of account creation.

4. Referral Benefits

Rider referral benefit: The Referred User receives 20% off their first completed ride (applied as a discount to the seat cost-share, not to the Safety & Technology Fee).

Referrer credit: Upon the Referred User's first completed qualifying ride, the Referrer receives a platform credit of $5.00 applied to their Pliho Wallet, redeemable against future seat cost-share payments.

Benefit values are subject to change. Benefits in effect at the time of referral code generation are honored for 90 days from that date.

5. Credit Terms & Restrictions

Referral credits are:

(a) Non-transferable and may only be used by the account to which they are credited. (b) Not redeemable for cash, not refundable, and not applicable to the Safety & Technology Fee. (c) Valid for 12 months from the date of credit. Unused credits expire automatically and are forfeited. (d) Applicable only toward seat cost-share payments, not toward driver payout or any fee charged to the driver.

Credits are applied automatically at checkout when a qualifying booking is made. Credits cannot be retroactively applied to completed bookings.

6. Fraud & Abuse

Pliho monitors referral activity for signs of fraud, self-referral, fake accounts, and coordinated abuse. The following will result in immediate forfeiture of all pending and existing referral credits and may result in account suspension:

(a) Creating multiple accounts to generate referral credits for yourself. (b) Referring users who are not genuinely new to the platform. (c) Using automated tools, bots, or bulk-messaging services to distribute referral codes. (d) Any misrepresentation of the platform, the referral program terms, or referral benefits to prospective users.

Pliho's determination of fraudulent referral activity is final.

7. Program Modifications & Termination

Pliho reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted in the app and will take effect upon posting. Pliho will honor referral credits already issued at the time of program termination for up to 90 days following the termination date, subject to the expiration terms in Section 5.

8. Tax Responsibility

Referral credits have a monetary value and may constitute taxable income depending on your jurisdiction and the aggregate value received. You are solely responsible for determining and satisfying any tax obligations arising from referral credits. Pliho does not provide tax advice. If required by law, Pliho may report referral benefit amounts to applicable tax authorities.

9. Governing Terms

This Referral Agreement is incorporated into and governed by the Pliho Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between this Agreement and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall control. Disputes arising from the Referral Program are subject to the arbitration clause in the Terms and Conditions.
